At the age of 18, Diane moved to Los Angeles from a small town in Michigan to pursue her education, find a new career path and of course 365 days a year of sunshine!
During her path, she had difficulty choosing a career. She happened upon the hotel industry by accident and thought if she were to work in a hotel, what department should she choose? Catering & Events sounded like the most “fun” so she jumped in head first. It certainly was the best decision that she ever made. Over the past 20+ years she has had the opportunity to meet some o the most interesting people, be a part of memorable, beautiful and spectacular events from Mitzvahs, fashion shows and fundraisers and of course the most spectacular weddings imaginable. Diane began her career as an administrative assistant at the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel and it gave her the opportunity to learn from some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry. She grew with the hotel and became a Catering Manager and worked with the elite to plan their perfect day. After a period of time she was ready for a new challenge in her career and left Beverly Hills and began a new chapter at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills. It wasn’t long before she was promoted to Director of Catering & Events. During this time she focused on non-profits events, social events, and of course weddings. One of her most memorable weddings was a Hindu ceremony that included the groom arriving on top of an elephant. Her passion is working with clients ensuring that she not only meets their expectations, but exceeds them!
